Southern Vantage to Headline Hayesville Square Concert Friday Night

HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The Hayesville Square will come alive this Friday night with the return of crowd favorite Southern Vantage, a North Georgia-based band known for their tight three-part harmonies and eclectic mix of classic and modern rock and country.


The free concert, part of the ongoing Hayesville Summer Concert Series, kicks off at 6 p.m. and promises a night of singing and dancing for all ages. Southern Vantage, a group rooted in Southern tradition, will perform covers of iconic artists such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Eagles, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, and Travis Tritt.


Their dynamic setlist spans genres and generations, ensuring a lively evening for music lovers. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site starting at 6 p.m., featuring Pick-A-Nick Basket, Hayesville Q, and the American Legion Auxiliary for food, alongside drinks from Laughing Dog Brewery, Sunny Sips, and Shooting Creek Wine.


The concert series is made possible through the support of sponsors, including Highway 69 Storage, Edward Jones Financial Advisor Jodi Sullivan, The Richard Kelley Group, Rotary Club of Lake Chatuge, Historic Hayesville, Inc., Clay County Historical and Arts Society, and the American Legion. Free transportation to and from nearby parking areas will be provided via the Red Rider, courtesy of Historic Hayesville, Inc.
