The Beal Center Announces Paid Summer Internship Opportunity

The Beal Center, one of the area’s most distinctive historic venues located in downtown Hayesville, is inviting motivated college students and recent graduates to apply for a paid summer internship that offers hands-on experience in events, marketing, hospitality, and nonprofit operations.

The position is ideal for students pursuing degrees or careers in marketing, events management, hospitality, communications, tourism, or related fields. Interns will gain valuable real-world skills while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at a unique historic site.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading history tours of The Beal Center

• Assisting with social media content creation and marketing efforts

• Supporting office administration tasks

• Helping with event setup, preparation, and coordination

• Contributing to weddings, community events, and special projects

The Beal Center is seeking candidates who are reliable and punctual, highly organized and detail-oriented, friendly and professional in their interactions, and proactive self-starters who can identify needs and solve problems independently. Adaptability and a positive attitude are essential in this hands-on role.
