Towns County Deputies Provide Security for Gubernatorial Candidate’s Visit

The Towns County Sheriff’s Office provided security Saturday for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson’s meet-and-greet at the Towns County Recreation Center.

Sheriff Anthony Coleman and the agency’s K9 team — Sgt. Tava Morales, Deputy David Desmond and Deputy Marc Burnette — worked to maintain a safe environment for those attending the event, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

“We appreciate the opportunity to serve our community and support the safety of all who visit Towns County,” the office said.
