Undies for Everyone Drive Kicks Off in July

Murphy, NC – The Reach of Cherokee County main office, in collaboration with Nantahala Bank and United Community Bank, has launched the "Undies for Everyone Drive" to support local schools and individuals in need. Running throughout July, the initiative encourages the community to donate new, unopened underwear, bras, and socks of all sizes and genders.

The drive aims to provide essential undergarments to enhance confidence and self-esteem among recipients. Donation drop-off locations include the Reach Main Office, Nantahala Bank, and United Community Bank. All sizes are welcome, with a special request to keep underwear and socks in mind for all genders. New underwear and gently used bras, including sports bras, are also accepted.

The deadline for item donations is July 30. Monetary donations can be made at the Reach main office or online at reachcherokeecounty.org. For more information or assistance, contact the crisis line at (828) 837-8064.
