Union County Fire Department Receives Generous Donation of Smoke Alarms

ree

The Union County Fire Department (UCFD) recently received a generous donation of 48 smoke alarms from City Plumbing and Electric Supply Company. The donation was made by Chris Britton, the local Branch Manager, and Todd Alexander, the company’s Purchasing Manager, as part of the department’s ongoing Smoke Alarm Program.

Through this program, UCFD offers free smoke alarm installations to homeowners throughout the county. The program is designed to ensure that every household in Union County is equipped with the life-saving devices, particularly for those who may have difficulty affording or installing smoke alarms on their own.

Homeowners who are interested in receiving a free smoke alarm installation can contact the Union County Fire Department at (706) 439-6091. Additionally, they can submit a request online through the department’s Smoke Alarm Request Form, available on the Union County website.

This donation from City Plumbing and Electric Supply Company will help further support the department’s efforts to improve fire safety across the county. The fire department is grateful for the company’s contribution and their continued partnership in this important community initiative.

For more information on the Smoke Alarm Program or to request a free installation, residents can visit the Union County Fire Department’s website or reach out directly to the department.
