WNC Driving School to Offer 200-Question Exemption Test for Drivers Ed

MURPHY, N.C. — WNC Driving School will host a 200-question exemption test for Drivers Ed on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 9 a.m. at Murphy High School. The test is open to any student who will be at least 14 1/2 years old by the test date.
To register, individuals must visit wncdrivingschool.com. Students are required to bring a charged chromebook to the test, along with $65 in cash. Additional details, including study materials and a list of necessary items, are available on the school’s website.
The exemption test, if passed, allows students to bypass the 30-hour class requirement. WNC Driving School also offers a 30-hour virtual class conducted over Google Meet, requiring a Gmail account for registration. This two-week course includes sessions from Sept. 22-25, Sept. 26 (test), Sept. 29-Oct. 2, and Oct. 3 (test), all held from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
