23rd Annual Car-B-Que Set for June 6 in Downtown Hayesville

HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The Rotary Club of Lake Chatuge is inviting the public to the 23rd Annual Car-B-Que, a popular classic car show and BBQ dinner fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the square in downtown Hayesville.

The family-friendly event combines two community favorites — a showcase of classic and custom cars with a delicious BBQ dinner — all while raising funds for local projects supported by the Rotary Club of Lake Chatuge.

Attendees can stroll through the streets of historic downtown Hayesville admiring a variety of vintage vehicles, many with hoods open for closer inspection. Last year’s event drew crowds of car enthusiasts, families, and visitors from across the region who enjoyed the scenic mountain setting and lively atmosphere.

In addition to the car show, the fundraiser will feature BBQ dinners available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Rotary Club’s ongoing service initiatives in the Lake Chatuge area.

“Events like the Car-B-Que are a wonderful way for our community to come together, enjoy great food and cars, and support meaningful local causes,” said a Rotary Club representative.

The event is free to attend, though donations and BBQ meal purchases directly support the club’s work.
