Cherokee County Fair Returns with Free Entry, New Location

ANDREWS, N.C. — The Cherokee County Fair is set to return from September 17 to 20, offering free admission and a new venue at the Family Dollar parking lot on Main Street and Wilson in Andrews. The four-day event promises a variety of rides, carnival food, food trucks, and live music.
The fair will operate from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday. Midway Rides Unlimited will provide the rides, with tickets priced at $1.25 each, $20 for 20 tickets, or $40 for 45 tickets. On Wednesday and Thursday, rides will require tickets only. On Friday and Saturday, all-you-can-ride wristbands will be available for $25 and $30, respectively.
Carnival food will be offered each night, with food trucks and live music enhancing the festivities on Friday and Saturday. The event aims to bring family-friendly fun to the heart of Andrews, encouraging attendees to enjoy rides, food, and community entertainment.
