Sgt. Keats Walker completes criminal procedure training at GPSTC

HIAWASSEE, Ga. — Sgt. Keats Walker of the Towns County Sheriff’s Office has successfully completed the Criminal Procedure course at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.

The intensive three-day course provides advanced instruction in criminal procedure. It covers constitutional law, criminal investigations, courtroom procedures and the legal standards that guide professional policing.

Towns County Sheriff Anthony Coleman commended Walker for his dedication to professional development and commitment to excellence in law enforcement.

“I appreciate his willingness to continually expand his knowledge and skills,” Coleman said. “Well-trained deputies are essential to maintaining the high standards of the Towns County Sheriff’s Office and providing exceptional service to the citizens of Towns County.”
