Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church Hosts Electronic Recycling Day on August 15

Young Harris, GA — Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church is inviting the community to participate in an Electronic Recycling Day as part of its “Caring for God’s Creation” initiative.
The free event will take place on Saturday, August 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the church parking lot. Residents are encouraged to bring unwanted electronics for proper recycling, helping to keep recyclable materials out of local landfills while allowing usable components to be removed and reused.
“Caring for our world includes keeping recyclable items out of our landfills,” church organizers stated in the announcement. “Bring your items to the Sharp parking lot and we will do the rest!”
