ANDREWS, N.C. — It was a proper cat-fight Thursday night as the Andrews Wildcats and the Tri-County Jaguars battled to a 2-2 draw in non-conference soccer action.
The result marked Andrews’ first tie of the season, moving the Wildcats to 2-7-1 overall. Tri-County, still searching for its first win, now stands at 0-8-1.
The two teams have been frequent opponents over the years, with Andrews winning or drawing in each of their last five meetings.
Up next, Andrews will host Swain County on Monday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m., while Tri-County will travel to take on Highlands, also at 6 p.m.
