HAYESVILLE, N.C. – Laura Cottrell, a standout Hayesville High School graduate and one of the most accomplished players in Clemson University women’s basketball history, has been inducted into the Clemson Athletics Hall of Fame.

Cottrell, who played for the Tigers from 1993 to 1997, left an indelible mark on the program during her four-year career. She earned First Team All-ACC honors in both 1996 and 1997 and was named the 1996 ACC Tournament MVP.
